Separated Parents Information Programme
During the process of formalising your break-up or uncoupling, the Court, following the recommendations of CAFCASS may require you to attend the SPIP.

The Separated Parents Information Programme (SPIP) is a course designed to help parents become clear about what their children need most from them and learn the fundamental principles of how to manage conflict and difficulties between separated parents – including how to put this into practice.

You will not be required to attend the same course as your estranged partner but both of you will need to complete it. The course is aimed at parents who are struggling to focus on the needs of their children because they cannot let go of the animosity between them.
